Does Medicare cover hospital beds?

Medicare lists hospital beds among durable medical equipment that Part B may cover when medically necessary and ordered for use at home. Coverage of a particular bed and its accessories requires confirmation with the treating provider and enrolled supplier; a regular household bed is not the same request.
