How to Use the Directory

Use the directory to make a short, relevant list of organizations to contact.

  1. Enter your ZIP code. Use a five-digit U.S. ZIP code, or browse by state. Your entry controls the search; we do not silently replace it with a detected location.
  2. Choose equipment. Powered and manual devices have separate filters. If you see few matches, try a broader category.
  3. Review the type of help. Direct equipment resources appear ahead of funding and referral resources. A loan, gift, discounted purchase and insurance claim have different terms.
  4. Read the service area. A nearby office may not serve your address. A distant statewide program may still be relevant.
  5. Call before traveling. Confirm current inventory, eligibility, any costs, documents, pickup arrangements and waitlists.

If nothing matches

Remove one filter or browse the state page. A missing result means we did not find a matching verified record in this directory, not that no service exists. Ask regional assistive-technology programs, aging agencies or independent-living organizations about additional options.
